Resume Parser for Tech Recruitment
Keep the context of what each developer actually did in each role
Turn developer and engineering CVs into structured JSON: work history with role descriptions, education and the LinkedIn profile URL. REST API, PDF only. 50 free parses per month.
Challenges we solve
Keyword lists lose context
A candidate who lists "Python" might have years of production work or a single course. Flat keyword lists treat both the same.
New tools appear constantly
Static skill dictionaries miss new frameworks and services. Recruiters need the text the candidate wrote, not a lossy mapping.
Links scattered across the CV
The LinkedIn link can sit in headers, sidebars, and footers.
Why Technology Teams Choose Resume Parser
Technologies in context
Each role description is returned as markdown in skillsDescription, so you can see which technologies were used in which role.
LinkedIn profile
The LinkedIn URL is returned in linkedInLink.
Plain HTTP and JSON
One POST to https://api.resumeparser.cc/v1/parse with a Bearer API key and a multipart file. No SDK required.
Compliance & security
The API is hosted on Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland. The /v1/parse endpoint does not store the PDF or the parsed result. Resume text is processed by OpenAI (US) as a subprocessor. If your policies do not allow that, contact us about on-premise.
Frequently asked questions
No. There is no separate skills field. Technologies stay in the markdown description of the role where they were mentioned, so your own system can map them to whatever taxonomy you use.
No. Only the LinkedIn profile URL is extracted, into linkedInLink. GitHub, portfolio and other URLs are not returned.
There is no self-hosted product today. If you need an on-premise setup, contact us.
