How it works

Send a PDF.
Get back clean JSON.

No field mapping. No regex. No post-processing. The API handles messy formatting, inconsistent dates, and resumes in many languages.

  • Work history extracted from multi-column and creative layouts
  • Dates normalized to month and year numbers (Jan 2020, 01/2020, 2020-01)
  • Skills and descriptions preserved as human-readable markdown
  • Contact info, links, education, and languages in one response

Why this parser

Built to keep what the CV says.

We built the parser we wanted for Herizon's own member signup: keep every entry, keep the formatting readable, and don't rewrite what the candidate wrote.

Every entry, not just the obvious ones

Short-term roles, freelance work and parallel positions are extracted as their own entries.

No formatting damage

"SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER" becomes "Senior Software Engineer". Descriptions stay readable, not mangled into one line.

Faithful to the source

"MSc Information Technology" stays as written. We don't rename it to "Master of Science" and lose the original wording.

Hosted in Finland

Runs on Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland. The parse endpoint does not store the PDF or the result. Resume text is processed by OpenAI (US) as a subprocessor.

One call, done

POST a PDF, get JSON in the same response. No webhooks, no polling, no multi-step workflows.
